Responsibilities: Develop and oversee chapter goals, projects, meetings,
agendas, committees, and all other chapter activities. Support officer
team.
Brief Biography: Inducted Fall 2007. Native Houstonian and full-time HCC
Honors College Student majoring in Economics.
Officer Goals: Promote visibility, communication, enthusiasm, knowledge,
participation, and success within our Chapter. Create new and exciting scholastic, service, social, and leadership opportunities for HCC faculty
and students.

Responsibilities: Encourage and recognize academic excellence. Help coordinate and oversee satellite seminars, and Honor’s Topic activities, specifically the Scholarship Hallmark.
Brief Biography: Inducted in November, 2006. From Rochester, NY - grew up in Houston, 32 years old. Experienced in management, training and research roles. Works full-time for Comfort Systems USA, Inc.’s corporate office as an HR Coordinator. Part-time student at Northwest Campus, majoring in Psychology.
Officer Goals: Promote a scholastic and academic environment within the community. Develop scholarly relations with student leaders from other organizations which have projects that complement the chapter’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities: Help develop leadership skills and oversee all leadership activities. Coordinate and oversee the Leadership Scholarship Hallmark Project.
Brief Biography: Inducted Spring 2008. From Nigeria, lives in Houston, TX. Did volunteer Service for American Global Rescue and Lupaul Human Development. Assistant Director, Genuine Future Leadership Program, of Ahiara Development Union (ADU) USA.
Full time student at Central Campus. Intends to transfer to University of Houston. Plans to major in Biology/Pre-Med.
Officer Goals: Promote communication, enthusiasm, leadership, participation, and success within our Chapter.

Promote membership awareness, recruitment, acceptance, participation, communication, and scholarly fellowship.
Brief Biography: Inducted Spring 2008. 22 years old. From Vietnam. Attends Central campus part time. Has been Treasurer and Vice President of the Student Youth Union at Vietnam International University. Her major is Accounting.
Officer Goals:
Promote enthusiasm and interest in Phi Theta Kappa. Promote participation of other students in the organization and its activities. Align with and achieve all related chapter goals. Be a valued resource to the other officers.

Responsibilities:
Maintain chapter meeting minutes, calendar, contact information, photos, and other correspondence. Help develop chapter newsletter and other publications.
Brief Biography: Inducted April 2008. 24 years old. Born and raised in Houston. Has attended Northwest campus full-time. Plans to attend University of Arizona and double major in Astrobiology and Astrophysics.
Officer Goals:
To perform secretarial duties and to promote awareness of the goals and mission of Phi Theta Kappa in our community.

Responsibilities: Maintain chapter financial
records, including expenses and merchandise sales revenue. Provides monthly budget updates to the chapter, officers, and advisors. Develop and oversee all chapter fundraising activities.
Brief Biography: 25 years old, Singaporean. Worked in bank and hotel industry. Major in Accounting. Full time student at HCC-Stafford.
Officer Goals: Support and maintain Chapter’s finances. Promote creativity and encourage fellowship.
