3,800 Potential Member Invitations Mailed

3

You may have received another invitation letter to join Phi Theta Kappa if you still meet the eligibility requirements, but we are trying to recruit another 200 new members by the end of the fall semester!

Our VP of Membership, Suong Le, is working hard to familiarize all HCC students and faculty with Phi Theta Kappa and all of the wonderful benefits membership offers.  “We want students to join Phi Theta Kappa and sign up in order to obtain the benefits of being members,” stated Suong.  “Our best option is to let the students know how important it is to spread the word and let the word of mouth help more students join Phi Theta Kappa by encouraging prospective students to accept the invitations from Omega Sigma.”

We will hold membership drives at 6 HCC locations (Central, Coleman, Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and Southeast campuses.) There will also be New Member Orientation meetings planned for the fall semester of 2008 to answer questions and provide more  information to new and potential members.

New Member Orientation Meetings:

  1. October 11th 2008 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Northwest- Town and Country Campus at the Eagle Room.
  2. October 17th 2008 from 7 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at Southwest - Stafford Campus at the Scarcella Building.

If you would like to join the membership committee or help with membership drives, orientations, the induction ceremony (Nov. 21st 2008, 7-9 pm at HCC Central Auditorium), or help pass out flyers at your local campus please email info@omegasigma.org as soon as possible.

Thank you for all of your support!
